I sat down and wrote this on Saturday, and then today as I post this, I am having to remind myself of how much grace I should afford to my mind and body. I did not meet my expectations for this morning, but that’s okay because a little bit is always better than nothing. Here, I write about how I manage my own extremely high expectations of myself rather than giving in to the crippling feeling of disappointment.
